Massage & Bodywork with Lucile also called the "Spectrum Method" is an integration of Thai massage, myofascial release, aromatherapy, acupressure and yoga therapy to relieve the most painful areas and establish deeper balance within the body & mind.
Each session is uniquely designed. It can be practiced either on a massage table or on a thick comfortable mat on the floor.
Based in the ancient practices of Traditional Thai Medicine with heavy influences from Yoga, Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, Thai bodywork (also called Thai Yoga Massage) combines assisted stretching, acupressure, gentle rocking with mindful breathing. This multi-dimensional work focuses on balancing the energy lines of the body while the receiver is moved and stretched into a variety of yoga-like positions. The whole body is taken into consideration, safely and slowly tractioned, stretched and rocked.
The combination of active and passive stretches helps to open & strengthen the joints, release connective tissues and increase circulation, reducing the effects of gravity & aging, compression & overall wear and tear. It effectively restores a deeper balance between the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous system, nourishes the glands and creates new updated pathways of communication within the body, leaving the recipient moving more easily, efficiently and powerfully, as well as feeling both calm and energized.
The "Spectrum Method" is highly effective for stress & tension, longevity, old & new injury, neuromuscular-postural challenges, sciatica, lower back, shoulder pain, migraines-headaches and more... because it aims at finding the root cause of the imbalance and not just covering up the symptoms.
Since the "Spectrum Method" can involve physical movement and more subtle energy work, as well as active & passive movement, the resulting healing effects are much more permanent & long-lasting than with regular massage or yoga. Where other healing modalities have failed, the "Spectrum Method" often offers maximum results.
Clients who are active physically often find that regular "Spectrum Method" sessions enhance their fitness level, allowing them to strengthen, stretch and open more quickly, while avoiding injury and having deeper resilience.
What are some of the benefits of receiving the "Spectrum Method"?
The way we move, the foods we eat, helping the body to relax and reset are all part of the circle of Wellness & Longevity!” - Lucile Palancher
